Ohbliv: “Retrospective” [Beat Tape Stream]

Virginia’s Ohbliv has been around for a minute becoming one of the most prolific and consistent artists of our time. The more I try to keep up the more I realize how much music I’ve missed over the years. Coming off the collab album with Fly Anakin called “Backyard Boogie”, Ohbliv and Paxico Records give us “Retrospective” a collection of Ohbliv’s best stuff.

I recognize some of these tracks, but some of these are brand new to me and are guaranteed to be so for you as well. Ohbliv will always have a special place in my collection, I’ll never forget watching music videos people made (Ohbliv included) to go with some of the instrumentals during those dark nights. Ohbliv’s evolution of the vintage sound is something that demands respect, his output over the last couple years is proof of that. You can stream Ohbliv’s “Retrospective” below with a fresh music video of “SkeetersBeatCD" up above.
