Brandon Paak Anderson, formerly known as Breezy Lovejoy and currently, professionally known as Anderson .Paak delivers his third album under his current moniker, fifth studio album overall, and first on Aftermath under the watchful eye of Dr. Dre. We're excited to bring you the Oxnard album credits, tracklist and streams.

Paak caught my ear during the recording of Dre's compilation album Compton. I was issued a late pass by the cool kids who had been up on his musical talents under his former moniker. You can read all about his career as Breezy Lovejoy here.

Hearing Paak on Animals in 2015, I was blown away by the soul and tone of his vocals. My man Ty Cannon gave me a brief background on him and from that point on, I was locked in. He would appear on 6 tracks on the project.

I went back and listened to Venice before digging into Malibu. His background as a drummer in church, his story and his struggle and his still hopeful and cheerful disposition leaked out of his vocal chords in a way that for me at least, was  reminiscent of a Marvin Gaye. Tracks like "The Bird" embodied that very vibe of soul, honesty and funk.

His features on The Documentary 2.5 were also on point. His ability to own anything with a funky vibe was solidified. "You Can Catch Me Rollin Down Crenshaw" was blasting from the whip rolling down the LA Freeways during the fall of 2015.

While working with Nate Coop and Charity Evaughn, we landed the XXL freshmen placement which .Paak, Dicky and Desiigner rapped on and .Paak later ripped, but still we were happy to have played a part in music with the homie because of our respect for his artistry. At least he didn't diss the beat during the cypher like Kodak Black. For the record, I thought his freestyle was actually dope. So did Lil Dicky.

On September 12, 2018, Dre took to his IG to let the world know that Oxnard was done.

The lead single "Tints" featuring Kendrick Lamar was released on October 4, 2018 with the official video dropping October 28, 2018.

On October 10, 2018 Paak shared the album cover and official release date for the project.

The album features BJ the Chicago Kid, Cocoa Sarai, Dr. Dre, J. Cole, Kadhja Bonet, Kendrick Lamar, The Last Artful, Dodgr, Norelle (R&B), Pusha-T, Q-Tip, and Snoop Dogg. Production credits include Dr. Dre, Focus..., 9th Wonder, Anderson, Jhair Lazo, Jose Rios, King Mchael Coy, Ron Avant, Dem Jointz, Om'Mas Keith, Mell, Callum and Kiefer, Andre Brissett, Jairus Mozee, Q-Tip, and Jaso Pounds. The album was mixed by Dr. Dre and Quentin Gilkey and mastered by Mike Bozzi.

Several writers, musicians, and vocalists contributed to the project as well.
